Bhaijaan Salman Khan who recently hit 22 million followers on Twitter has a huge fan base and his stardom knows no boundaries. From his love life and career to court cases and social work, the superstar has always been in news for some reason or the other.
Salman is the most loved B-Toen celeb and is known for helping nature. Whether it is launching a newcomer in the industry or providing financial security to someone in need, the superstar has many times gone out of his way to help others and that’s what makes him a star not only in reel but real life as well.
Recently, we came across an old video of Salman Khan from Karan Johar’s TV show Lift Kara De. Remember! The show was premiered in 2010 and was aimed at helping poor and needy people. Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the concept of the show was really interesting in which the biggest fan of the celeb was decided through a money task. After which the amount collected by the winner was multiplied by 500 and then given to the family in need.
In one such episode, Salman Khan was the celebrity guest and the amount to be paid was Rs 8.20 lakh. When Salman asked the man that what will he do with such a big amount, he said he will put his children in English medium school and will use the remaining amount to treat his ailing wife.
After which Salman said that he will bear all the expenses of the treatment and also took the responsibility of educating his children in an English-medium school. In the video, Salman also asked the makers to deposit money in the man’s bank account safely.
Well, this is not the first time that Salman has done something like this. A few years back, the actor also donated his bone marrow to a little girl and saved her life. Have a look at teh video:
