Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming film Noor is very different from her previous films, as the actress will be seen playing the character of a journalist named Noor Roy Chaudhary, based in Mumbai. The trailer of the film was released last week and is like a breath of fresh air.
Sonakshi’s look in the film is super cool and is surely going to be followed by the girls who believe in the mantra of being comfortably stylish. After being highly appreciated for her easy going style and effortless performance in the trailer, the makers have now released the very first song from the film.
Titled Uff Ye Noor, the song perfectly captures every little emotion we go through and all thanks to Sonakshi for portraying that so well on screen. The song starts with a small narration by Sonakshi Sinha saying, ‘I am Noor..Noor Roy Chaudhary..and this is my life.’
Composed by Amaal Mallik and sung by Armaan Malik, lyrics of the song are by Manoj Muntashir. From capturing her party moods, epic hangovers to weight issues and love life, the song is a perfect mix of various emotions that we can easily relate to.
Directed by Sunhil Sippy, the film is inspired by the novel Karachi, You Are Killing Me. It’s just that the place has been changed from Karachi to Mumbai. Apart from Sonakshi, Noor also stars comedian Kanan Gill and actor Purab Kohli in prominent roles.
Sonakshi Sinha on Wednesday took to her Twitter account to share the song and wrote: I’m Noor aur yeh hai meri life. Tell me what you think #UffYehNoor
The film is slated to release on April 21 this year.
