Ahead of the release of Sachin Tendulkar’s film Sachin: A Billion Dreams, the makers organized a premier on Wednesday in Mumbai. Undoubtedly the event turned out to be a star-studded affair, as a string of Bollywood celebrities graced the event. Sachin and his wife Anjali played perfect hosts to all the stars.

While Amitabh Bachchan attended the event with his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan made solo entries. Apart from them, celebrities including Asha Bhosle, Farah Khan, Anupam Kher, Sonu Nigam, Anil Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh, Karishma Tanna, Mukesh Ambani with wife Nita Ambani, Sharman Joshi, Ranveer Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari were spotted at the premiere of Sachin: A Billion Dreams. 

Besides, the couple who stole the limelight at the grand premiere of the film was none other than Virat Kohli and his rumored girlfriend and actress Anushka Sharma. On Tuesday the duo arrived hand-in-hand at Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge’s engagement ceremony. At the event, Virat happily posed for the shutterbugs along with Anushka Sharma.

Not only Bollywood celebrities, but the Indian cricket team also attended the special screening of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s biography.  Check out the pictures here:

Sachin: A Billion Dreams, traces his journey as he ruled the pitch for 24 years carrying the hopes and aspirations of a billion people and smashed records to attain his iconic position in cricket. The movie will give the audience a window into his real and personal life as they will also get to witness the various roles that Sachin plays in his day to day life.

Helmed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is all set to release on Friday. The film has already been declared tax-free in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.
