For those of you who are still unaware of Mumbai Police’s A-grade social media game, what are you even doing online? A short while ago, they had issued an e-challan to actor Kunal Kemmu for riding his bike without a helmet and sharing an image on Twitter. This time round, it is actor Hrithik Roshan who has gotten into trouble.
Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Rajyavardhan Rathore recently kickstarted a fitness challenge of sorts and asked people on Twitter to share how they stay fit.
Post pictures and videos of how you keep yourself fit and send a #FitnessChallenge to your friends on social media. Here’s my video _and I challenge @iHrithik, @imVkohli & @NSaina to join in_ pic.twitter.com/pYhRY1lNEm

For maximum eyeballs, he ‘tagged’ Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli, and Saina Nehwal to do the same. The minister urged the celebs to share their own fitness regime vlogs with the hashtag, Hum Fit Toh India Fit.
This initiative makes me so proud ! Bravo @Ra_THORe #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge this is how I commute to my office everyday. sitting static in a car is such a waste. Walk, cycle, jog, feel the earth, feel India __ get FIT! pic.twitter.com/twoI1vna9c

Aside from the deluge of jokes, what also followed was a warning for Roshan from Mumbai Police for shooting his fitness vlog, while riding a bicycle. Apparently that’s how the Kaho Na Pyar Hai actor gets to work everyday. Unfortunately for him, most Twitter users could not get past the fact that he wasn’t observing basic safety.
irresponsible example to be shooting video while cycling, so many selfie deaths are a case in point @iHrithik

Appreciate your intent. But riding a cycle without a Helmet, shooting a video through mobile is way too callous & a risk uncalled for…

Where is your helmet? These are basics while riding a bicycle.

One user called out his violation of traffic rules (by not wearing a helmet and for shooting the vlog while on the road), while also tagging Mumbai Police. Their response?
“Please share the location details for us to inform the concerned traffic division”, quipped the official police handle.
Please share the location details for us to inform the concerned traffic division.

Nobody messes with Mumbai Police, y’all.
Meanwhile, here’s how Virat and Saina responded to the challenge:
I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. _ #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay pic.twitter.com/e9BAToE6bg
