In the battle between Aamir Khan and Aamir Khan, the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat has defeated the alien in one department at the Box Office. The sports drama Dangal has earned Rs 300 crore in the domestic market on the 13th day of its release, 23 December.
Now what makes this feat of Dangal commendable is that Aamir’s another movie PK took 17 days to achieve this. PK is so far the biggest blockbuster of Bollywood, so Dangal pacing ahead of it in this aspect is definitely brilliant.
Sharing these numbers, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Aamir Khan is setting new benchmarks in the film industry.

A look at these figures and it can be undoubtedly asserted that Aamir has grown past of all kinds of competition. His only rivalry is with himself now and he seems to be doing better with each movie.
Dangal struck a chord with the Indian audience and everything about the movie was welcomed by the viewers. Having its epicenter on how a father trained his daughters to become world class wrestlers, Dangal had important lessons for about women empowerment too.

The start of the movie showed how Aamir’s character Mahavir Singh Phogat thought like people in his society and always wanted a son. With time his views changed and he understood his daughters weren’t less than sons. It was then that he pushed them to wrestling, earlier to their reluctance but later the daughters developed a love for the sport.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal left everyone in awe and the numbers are proof.
