It has been weeks since Aamir Khan’s Dangal released but the earnings are not seeing a halt. The movie now stands at a total of Rs 373.91 crore, becoming an All Time Blockbuster. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted this news earlier in the day which further confirmed that Dangal is way ahead of any kind of competition. For the uninitiated, a movie is called an All Time Blockbuster if it changes the course of Hindi cinema and brings immense profit to the makers.
Dangal satisfies all these criteria so the term ATBB now seems just like a formality to it.
Aamir Khan perfected the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat and won hearts with his acting. It is difficult to imagine anyone else in this role. But recently, the makers revealed if not Aamir, they would have casted Mohanlal or Kamal Hassan for the role. Well, why cine buffs aren’t complaining about the cast, we wonder what the movie would have been like if Aamir wasn’t in it.
On a record-breaking spree, Dangal is proof that Aamir Khan is a treasure for the film industry. In the past years, he set new benchmarks when he started the Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore and now the Rs 350 crore club.
Here is what Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film:
#Dangal [Week 4] Fri 1.94 cr, Sat 4.06 cr, Sun 4.24 cr, Mon 1.37 cr, Tue 1.27 cr, Wed 1.16 cr. Total: ₹ 373.91 cr. India biz. ATBB.

The success of Dangal is proof that the movies having rich content and a social message still appeases the masses. The film had lessons of women empowerment perfectly imbibed to it, which is why it won the hearts of all. It is based on an incredible true story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who fought against all odds to make his daughters, Geeta and Babita, world class wrestlers.
