Sushant Singh Rajput has grown as an actor. His performance in ‘MS Dhoni – Biopic’ has been lauded by the critics and audience alike. Be it detective ‘Byomkesh Bakshi‘ or ‘Sarfaraz‘ from ‘PK‘, the actor is now known for going deep into the skin of the role. While his biopic film on ‘MS Dhoni‘ is inching close to 200 crores club, filmmaker- actor Rajat Kapoor made sure to tell Sushant that he did not like him in the film at all.
He shared his displeasure on the Twitter and wrote, “Dhoni looks so much better than the actor who plays him..#fact”
Soon, Sushant Singh Rajput took notice of Rajat Kapoor’s tweet and wrote, “I Slogged a bit extra on my skills to compensate. If you get interested in that, pls do watch the film sir:) #fact”
Their casual twitter conversation was taken in some other direction by Sushant’s fan who started abusing Rajat Kapoor. The ‘Kapoor and Sons’ actor maintained his cool and wrote,” I believe your performance is fab in the film… And man, your fan following is huge! Best wishes.” Sushant replied, “They are not my fans sir, I don’t have many. They just like good films PS.- You were really good in ‘Kapoor & Sons.” The incident ended there and then with both the actors equally putting their points across in the best way possible but what has gone unnoticed is the fact that there is more to Sushant than just his good looks. The actor who had once cracked nearly 11 national exams is not just a handsome face. His performance in ‘Pavitra Rishta‘ grabbed a lot of attention. His television debut in ‘Kis Desh Mei Hai Mera Dil‘ was so liked by the audience that he was called back to do an extended cameo when the serial ended.
