Team Dear Zindagi have all the reason to rejoice as the censor board has passed the Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan’s romantic flick with no cuts at all. CBFC has issued its certification for the film with many praises . Commending Shah Rukh Khan for his wholesome family-oriented cinema, the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC aka Censor Board) granted Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi an all-clear ‘UA’ certificate.
A leading daily quoted a source saying:
There is not a single cut, verbal or visual. The Board actually said it would be a crime to cut even one shot from the film. They also singled out Shah Rukh Khan as the A-list actor with the least censorial intervention required in his films.
The makers of the film released the second song of the film titled Just Go To Hell Dil a few days back. The song deals with Alia Bhatt’s turbulent relationships in the film and how every breakup has put a heavy impact on the actress’s character Kaira in the film. As soon as it was out, the audience started comparing it with that of ADHM’s Breakup Song (coz breakup). In the movie Shah Rukh Khan is seen playing the role of Jug aka Jahangir Khan who is there to help Alia Bhatt with her heartbreaks. This is the first time Alia Bhatt and SRK are sharing the screen space in a film. Talking about the same, Alia said:
The reason I am doing this so is because I love my Zindagi and I want you to love my Zindagi. I mean, I want you to love your Zindagi also, you must love your Zindagi. Loving Zindagi is very important and I am confusing you. So, right now, I think let’s just focus on loving Zindagi.
Dear Zindagi is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Even the theme song, Love You Zindagi is breezy and the storyline looks simple and beautiful. Moreover, the equation between SRK and Alia has come out very well in the teasers of the film. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, it is slated to hit the screens on November 23.
