The first teaser or ‘Take 1’ (as the makers have called it) of the much anticipated Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer — Dear Zindagi is out. As part of their marketing strategy, director Gauri Shinde and Shah Rukh Khan along with their team have decided to release four teasers, instead of one teaser and one trailer. The team is doing this to create the right buzz about the film.
The film, which also features Ali Zafar, Angad Bedi, Ira Dubey, Kunal Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor apart from SRK and Alia, is slated to release on 25 November this year. It has been deemed as a sweet simple story showing us how to focus on the small happy things in life. The first teaser video of the film shows a dapper Shah Rukh giving Alia a taste of freedom in small things like playing with ocean waves and learning cycling. Mood of the film aside, one just can’t take eyes off from both SRK and Alia. While King Khan sports that cool look with messy longhair, Alia once again is flaunting her natural glowing self. Almost no makeup look on screen is something this actress has completely associated herself with. Take a look at her previous film outings like Kapoor & Sons, Udta Punjab, Highway and Shandaar, Alia has refrained from looking too much caked, which is for good.
Dear Zindagi looks like the one that has a motive to make us fall in love with life again. With its first look itself, it gives away a feeling of reading a nice book that helps you to love yourself and think positive about life in every sense. While it would be too soon to say whether or not Dear Zindagi does so, we really hope that it brings some freshness to Hindi cinema.
Along with directing it, Gauri Shinde has also produced the film with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan and Karan Johar.
