While many are shocked from this development, a few are just making fun. In India, many celebrities took to Twitter to share their disappointment.

Manhattan billionaire Donald Trump has been elected the US President. As the Republican, a real estate magnate, is set to become the 45th President of the US, celebs in India are going bonkers. Though most of the celebs supported Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, it seems that her campaign failed. Both the nominees gave each other a tough competition and finally the winner has been declared. While many are shocked from this development, a few are just making fun. In India, many celebrities took to Twitter to share their disappointment. From Salman Khan to Vidya Balan, the stars were hoping for Clinton’s win. Here’re some of the disappointed reactions.

Taking to Twitter, Twinkle Khanna wrote, “Donald Duck waddling to the White House doesn’t seem to be just a surreal nightmare. Misogyny plays its trump card and wins…” Also, filmmaker Hansal Mehta wrote, “RIP liberals. Your time is up. Orange is the new white(house)… hahaha.” Here are some of the other tweets.
