Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal worked together for the first time in 1994 movie Mohra. One of the biggest blockbusters of that year, Mohra was directed by Rajiv Rai and featured Raveena Tandon in the lead. The thriller was essentially the story of a cop Amar Saxena (Akshay Kumar) who wishes to teach lawbreakers a lesson. In his journey, he met a convict, Vishal (Suniel Shetty) who befriends him and contributes in the battle.
Apart from the gripping plot, amazing dialogues and impeccable acting, the movie’s songs gained immense popularity. Take this for example:
Now, many may diss Tip Tip Barsa Paani as a trashy song, but no one can deny its popularity. It is the song which people still enjoy watching on their mobiles and tablets. Not to forget, this song introduced terms like sexuality and seductiveness in a subtle manner. Tip Tip Barsa Paani was and still is one of the songs which made sensuality look good without crossing a line.
Considering how the censor board mercilessly chops off scenes from movies these days, for the silliest of reasons, we are glad the song was made years ago and was given for to cine lovers.
