Stan Lee, the big daddy of the Marvel comic book universe, has passed away at the age of 95. Born Stanley Martin Lieber, he co-created some of the most iconic comic book heroes. From The Amazing Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers (the biggest export of the MCU), the Incredible Hulk and the Fantastic Four.
It’s no surprise that the news has shattered many fans across the world. But, along with expressing sadness, most of these fans are putting out the most heartfelt tributes.
Here are some of the best ones:
Kevin Feige, the MCU chief, reached out to the man who ‘impacted his career’ unlike anyone else through the official account of the MCU.
Here’s what the actors working in the MCU reacted to the sad news. As Mark Ruffalo (who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk) puts it, Lee will rest in power, and not just peace.
Robert Downey Jr, synonymous as Tony Stark/Iron Man, thanked Lee saying he owes it all to him.

Captain America himself, made the bold declaration that there will ‘never be another Stan Lee’. Such was his range of work spanning five decades.
The directors of Avengers: Infinity War weighed in for the creator of their source material.
Wolverine shared this beautiful tribute to the grand old man of Marvel comics.
Others from the Marvel Cinematic Universe also reacted to the new about the man, largely responsible for their worldwide fame.
Thanks for everything Stan Lee! What a life, so well lived. I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.

His contribution to Pop Culture was revolutionary & cannot be overstated. He was everything you hoped he would be & MORE. I loved this man & will never stop missing him. They say you should never meet a childhood idol. They are wrong. #RIPStanTheMan pic.twitter.com/6OKH07ahJg

Stan Lee created a universe where, if a character was beloved enough, they could never really die.
Now THAT’S thinking ahead.
Thanks for so much of my life. You’ll never not be in it.

Even his not-so-famous fans won the Internet with their honest love for the man and his work.
1. He was good at something.
2. He REALISED he was good at it.
3. He went ahead and made a career of it.
4. He got tons of respect, love and — this is also important — money.
5. He lived to be 95, enjoying “legend” status in his lifetime.Talk about a life well-lived. #StanLee

These are all so beautiful. One can be sure that in spite of all the sentimentality (something he abhorred), Stan Lee would be so proud of these tributes. Rest in power!
