Actor Tiger Shroff is currently gearing up for his upcoming — Munna Michael with director Sabbir Khan.
Special songs are often seen as a marketing gimmick by filmmakers to lure the attention of the audience. And it seems director Sabbir Khan has also fallen for this idea as he plans to have an item song in his upcoming film Munna Michael which features Tiger Shroff in the lead.
The Heropanti helmer is apparently toying with the idea to shoot a song on a big scale and he is also scouting for a talented choreographer who can make the song more grander. Though his close friends from the B-town have suggested some choreographers to him, it is yet not known who would choreograph the ‘special’ song.
According to our sources, “He (Sabbir) is going to rope in a young actress for this special song. From Kriti Sanon to Shraddha Kapoor, all new-gen actresses are being considered for the big song.”
Much like he is in real life, Tiger Shroff is playing a die-hard Michael Jackson fan in Munna Michael, who grows up on the streets of Mumbai. Nidhi Agerwal, a popular South Indian actress will be seen playing the female lead in the film.
Seems like to have one stand-out song in a film is a new taste Bollywood has recently developed. Several filmmakers have had special songs featuring other actresses or actor in their respective films. This year, actress Parineeti Chopra made a special dance appearance with Varun Dhawan in Jaaneman Aah from Dishoom. Even Bigg Boss 9 fame Nora Fatehi had a special dance number in John Abraham’s Rocky Handsome.
Among the upcoming ones, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raaes will recreate Laila O Laila song from blockbuster Sholay with Sunny Leone.
In the past, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had roped in Priyanka Chopra for Ram Chahe Leela song in Ram Leela, Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar Is Back had Chitrandga Singh grooving to Aao Raja, and Brothers had Kareena Kapoor Khan showing some dance moves on Mera Naam Mary Hai.
While Tiger Shroff has proved his mettle of dancing in the industry, it would be interesting to see who comes on board to match his steps in Munna Michael‘s special song.
