Mimoh or Mahaakshay Chakraborty’s career has been a huge question mark since he made his debut in 2008’s Jimmy. Things have now gotten worse according to this ANI report, after an actress slapped him with an FIR charging him with alleged rape, cheating and forcing a miscarriage. Along with the star-son, the FIR also names his mother Yogita Bali (Mithun Chakraborty’s wife).
The complainant, who has reportedly worked in Hindi films & Bhojpuri films, claims to have been in a relationship with Mimoh since 2015. According to her, the Haunted 3D actor got physical with her and promised to marry her. Following the complaint, the court ordered an FIR, that included charges of ‘rape, cheating and miscarriage without consent’.
This is hardly the first such case to come out of Bollywood’s closet – director Madhur Bhandarkar was previously accused of allegedly raping model/actor Preeti Jain, after he got physical with her after promising work. In a weird turn of events, it was discovered Jain had contracted a member of Arun Gawli’s gang to kill the director. She allegedly even paid a sum of Rs 75, 000 for the same. She’s currently serving her sentence in prison for the crime.
Mimoh hasn’t worked in a film since 2015’s Ishqedarriyaan and had recently finished a film called The Murderer, which awaits release.
