Seems like Karan Johar is currently in the best phase of his life. The filmmaker has become a father to twins via surrogacy. He recently welcomed his kids Yash and Roohi home after they spent over seven weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a hospital in Mumbai. As of now, he is on paternity leave and is taking a proper care of his children. Recently, Karan shared that he wants his children to listen to Hindi film music that he has grown up listening to.
And now in a recent interview with famous journalist Barkha Dutt, KJo said that for him Yash and Roohi are his two superstars.
Karan also shared his views on being a single father and expressed his feeling when he held them for the first time. He said when he held them for the first time, it was the beginning of a different kind of a love story and he doesn’t know how to explain this feeling. Talking about them, KJo revealed about their sleeping habits. He added,”They do a lot of sleeping, and I do a lot of staring because I can’t believe that they are mine”.
The 44- year-old filmmaker also said that this phase of his life is the most emotionally overwhelming time for him and his mom.

He recently shared the photograph of his kids’ nursery designed by superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan.
Meanwhile, Karan made it to headlines for his remark on nepotism. On the film front, his last Bollywood outing was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead, the film also sparked controversy for featuring Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas in key roles.
