Kapil Sharma, it seems, is distancing himself from his friends Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar. Post his ugly spat with Sunil Grover, now reports have it that, Kapil has unfollowed Ali and Chandan on Twitter. Ali and Chandan were strong pillars of The Kapil Sharma Show and looks like the ties have been broken. These two left Comedy Nights with Kapil to join Kapil Sharma on the new show.
While Kapil met Ali on professional grounds, he and Chandan are childhood friends. Their bond goes back to the struggling days, so Kapil unfollowing Chandan Prabhakar seems like a really big deal.
This controversy around The Kapil Sharma Show started when Kapil allegedly got drunk and started misbehaving with Chandan. When Sunil Grover stepped in and asked Kapil to mend his ways, the latter hurled a shoe at him, suggested media reports. When the fight made its way to the media, almost everyone said Kapil should’ve behaved himself.

Sunil Grover did not turn up for the shoot and neither did Chandan. When Sunil was asked about it, he chose to not comment on it. He always maintained that he would inform everyone on taking the decision. Sunil later tweeted he would not work only for money and that dignity was of utmost importance to him.

Post the incident, the TRPs of Kapil Sharma’s show fell drastically. From being one of the top rated shows on Indian Television, Kapil’s show failed to find a spot even in top 10.

In all this trouble, Kapil had a reason to celebrate when Upasna Singh came back on his show. The actress is said to have shot for a couple of episodes. When she was asked what she felt about the Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover fight, Upasna reportedly said, ”
Kapil and Sunil will patch up. In every family, people fight, don’t talk and then make amends. They have been good friends, and with time things will fall into place. I think Sunil and the others will return to the show.”
