In what can be said as the happiest news that Shararat fans are going to hear today, this decade old show might make a comeback with a second season. For past some time, there are news doing the rounds that the makers of the show are planning for a sequel and the fans hope grew when the show’s cast reunited for a brunch few days back.
“It is under consideration but it is a long process because one has to figure out who does the rights for the show belong to. There are people, who are working the logistics out. But definitely there is some amount of interest. All the actors want to reunite for a fresh season,” lead actress of the show, Shruti Seth.
Sequel of the show is still much awaited but it will require a great effort and we all are giving our fingers crossed. As we are recieving lot of love and praises from audience, making a comeback with second season will be the right thing to do, she added.
She also urged that if fans who are keenly demanding for another season should increase their demand, things can move at a faster pace because it is necessary to convince the channel that even after eight years since it got off air, the show is immensely popular.
“We need the audience to demand for it and it will become a lot easier because the way television works, if they know they have a winner in hand, the chance of getting it off the ground is much brighter. Keep putting the feelers out there. Let’s hope something works out”, Shruti told to indianexpress.com
The show when launched in early 2000s was aired on Star Plus but was later taken up by Disney.
