The fifth edition of filmmaker Karan Johar’s popular chat show “Koffee With Karan” is set to be back. While Karan had previously announced on social media that he will be back on small screen as a host of a new season of the show, he had also asked his fans to wait before playing the guessing game on the line-up. The official said the fact that “viewers can’t get enough of” the show, is “pretty evident from all the excitement, buzz and conversations around the season even before we’ve officially announced it”.
In its past seasons, the show has been graced by a string of A-list actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gurinder Chadha, Farah Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and more at their candid best.
Earlier, it was speculated that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan would be the first guest on the chat show. But Karan has asked all the eager fans to “wait for a formal announcement”. The show will air on Star World and Star World HD.
