Prabhas-Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali: The Conclusion has taken the Box Office by storm, with the Hindi version earning a whopping Rs 129 crore upon its release so far. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the fictional epic continues to set the cash registers ringing and boasts of gross collections worth Rs 415 crore by Sunday.
Despite receiving mixed reviews by the critics, the sequel to 2015 runaway hit Baahubali: The Beginning has done phenomenally well outside India. The Hindi version of the flick earned Rs 41 crore on its opening day, Rs 40.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 46.50 crore on Sunday.
A news website quoted an online ticket booking portal claiming to have sold more than 45 lakh tickets. Most of the cinema halls in the Delhi/NCR region clocked 95 per cent occupancy rate. Trade pundits have predicted that if Baahubali 2 continues to perform well, it might even achieve the Rs 1,000 crore mark. Something, which is completely unheard of in Indian cinema.

This is also exciting because no film has so far managed to get even close to Rs 500 cr. However, the worldwide collections of Baahubali has already surpassed Rs 400 cr. And all this in just three days. If the success spree continues, crossing Rs 500 cr would be a cakewalk for the film. It should be noted that in its first week of release, Baahubali: The Conclusion is expected to rake around Rs 700 crore. However, the 10-days run can definitely ensure an easy Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
As of now, Rajamouli continues to enjoy the sweet success. Industry stalwarts like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and others have heaped a lot of praises on the filmmaker. With the stupendous success of Baahubali 2, the fans would now be waiting for the third instalment.
