Jennifer Lawrence might not have ever imagined that she would ever have to explain herself for a night when she got drunk at a friend’s birthday party. Unfortunately, she isn’t familiar with our new old-world order. Radar Online shared a “scandalous” video of the Oscar-winning actress where she can be seen dancing on a stripper pole. An actress of her stature should have known better than to tarnish her image by drunk-dancing like a wild woman. Doesn’t she know that women don’t have that luxury in our world?
Lawrence was in Austria about last month where she was celebrating a friend’s birthday at a strip club. According to the original post, not only did she flaunt her moves, she took off her top, started grinding on a hunk and spanked herself. So unsophisticated of her! This America’s sweetheart is not just a respected actress but is also a role-model for several girls. She should be helping people in Africa, or talking about politics or, I don’t know… Start a Jennifer Lawrence Foundation to help kids, maybe? Instead, here she is, acting like she’s 26 or something. Fortunately, the “jaw-dropping video” exposed her “promiscuous” behaviour. Thanks a lot, Radar Online.
Watch her drag her own name through the mud in this deplorable video:
However, as if she hadn’t done enough, JLaw had the audacity to not apologise for dancing. Seriously? “Nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet. It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”
She added “I think my dancings pretty good. Even with no core strength (sic).” Damn! This girl really needs to go to a strip dance class after church on Sundays. Or perhaps learn it on YouTube.
It was refreshing to see people call her out on this and made it utterly clear where she belongs (Hint: It has a stove). #PatriarchyRules #AsDoesSexism #SlutShamingIsInevitable
