Hugh Jackman’s final bout as the clawed mutant Wolverine seems to be working well with the Indian audience. Marvel’s tenth X-Men film has been competing with Bollywood movie Commando 2 at the Box Office. The Vidyut Jammwal starrer film took a setback as Logan witnessed a 20% rise in profits from Day 2. The Hollywood film opened with an astonishing 4.75 crore collection on Day 1, higher than expected. Over the weekend, Logan ruffled up some feathers and by the third day of its release, the film surpassed Commando 2, collecting a total of 15.25 crore.
While on Day 2, the film witnessed a 17% rise with a profit of 5 crores, the following day, Logan collected 6 crores, a further 20% climb for the Marvel film. The film has excellent reviews however, it was expected perform better over the weekend and only managed to do averagely. Regardless, the film is still ahead of Commando 2 which has managed to collect a mere 13.25 crores till now.

The film has been successful to say the least on the global market, earning over $237.8M (Rs 15,86,89,88,500). Logan‘s numbers are expected to drop over the week, however, the film may surprise as it has started to catch people’s attention. It has had a more successful global opening of $85.3M than the previous Wolverine films: X-Men Origins: Wolverine ($85.05M), The Wolverine ($55.11M).
The film starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen has been a huge hit globally but is slowly picking up the pace with the Indian audience.
