If you thought the Guardians of the Galaxy couldn’t get any more awesome, you were wrong. In the latest trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Marvel featured the popular Bappi Lahiri song, Jhoom Jhoom Jhoom Baba. Marvel must really adore Indian music. First, it was Mera Joota Hain Japani in Deadpool and now this! Kinda makes you feel proud, doesn’t it?
In the latest trailer, the Guardians, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Baby Groot and Rocket bust a move to the superhit 80s song. Marvel shared the trailer on Facebook with the caption, “The Awesome 80s return with this desi disco twist! Plug in and dance to #TheGuardiansSong right NOW.” Although, we are not too big on them calling it the “Guardians song” but, apparently, Disney India purchased the rights to this song for it to be featured in the trailer.

If you’re wondering that the song, which is originally from the 1984 film Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki, would feel out of place, then let us tell you, it is not. In fact, the song’s vintage disco beats sit perfectly in tune with the intergalactic superhero drama. Also, Baby Groot looks even more adorable with this song on that originally featured Mithun Chakraborty and Smita Patil.
