Priyanka Chopra has put a rest to all speculations about her attending the Academy Awards by posting a picture on social media

Priyanka Chopra is all set to make a return to one of the most awaited events of the year- the Academy Awards. Last time around when she walked the red carpet, Priyanka stunned everyone. Wearing a white strapless gown by Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad and accentuating her look with diamonds, PeeCee ruled everyone’s hearts. She presented the award to actor Liev Schriber.

Cut to this year, there were speculations if the Desi Girl will, in fact, attend the Oscars. And the answer to all these speculations is positive. Priyanka Chopra will attend the 89th Academy Awards this Sunday and her Instagram post confirmed this. There was something else to which her social media post revealed- that she got clicked with a huge star.

Apparently, Priyanka will be accompanied by Mick Jagger to the ceremony. Jagger, an English singer and composer is also the founding member of band Rolling Stones.

Priyanka’s social media post also revealed that she was rooting for La La Land. The musical rom-com directed by Damien Chazelle and featuring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in lead roles. The film received a record-tying 14 nominations (equalling 1997’s Titanic and 1950’s All About Eve), including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Gosling), Best Actress (Stone), and two nominations for Best Original Song (“Audition” and “City of Stars”).

Priyanka is currently seen playing Alex Parrish in ABC’s series Quantico. Apart from that, her Hollywood debut Baywatch also awaits release this year. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron in pivotal roles, Priyanka plays the role of antagonist Victoria Leeds in this film.
