Actress Priyanka Chopra has got her hands on yet another prestigious award in the West. The diva, who stars in ABC’s series Quantico, has won the People’s Choice Award for Favourite Dramatic TV Actress. Interestingly, this is Priyanka’s second People’s Choice Award, the first one too was for Quantico. In the last edition of the award, Priyanka won the best debut actress award.
The Desi Girl was up against Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo, and Taraji P Henson, this time.
On winning the award, Priyanka said she was extremely grateful to all who supported her. She said it had been an incredible journey for her. Expressing gratitude for her contenders, a humble PeeCee said that the women nominated along with her was the reason she joined television.
Thanking the viewers, Priyanka said it is they who’ve made the award really special. She went on to say that the award meant the world to her.
Dressed in baby-pink tube dress which had fringes at the bottom, the actress made a stunning appearance. By leaving her hair loose, Priyanka perfectly accentuated her look.
In the thriller Quantico, Priyanka essays the role of protagonist Alex Parrish. The series started with she being an FBI recruit and how she was wrongfully framed to be a terrorist. The second season took the story forward and Alex joined CIA. However, the skeletons in the closet didn’t leave her alone. The story now focuses on how Alex is trying her best to save the city and clear her name from terrorism.
The series is being loved by viewers all over the world and Priyanka winning the award is proof. It hence seems obvious that Priyanka gave such a heartwarming speech:
