Actor Irrfan took a break over health issues over the past year, many of his fans have been anxious for news of his comeback. There’s been so much speculation about it, that one can’t be too careful about what they hear/read. However, when the actor himself tweets about his wellness, it’s a moment for his fans to rejoice! Sharing a picture of himself with a tiny message attached with it, Irrfan took the opportunity to thank everyone who sent their wishes during his illness.

The message reads – “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”
It was exactly a year ago in March, when there were reports that Irrfan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumour. Undergoing treatment in London for what was initially described as ‘life-threatening’, the actor had to drop out of the Amazon Prime original, for which he was collaborating with comedy collective, All India Bakchod. It also meant that Irrfan wouldn’t be able to shoot his film with Vishal Bhardwaj, where he was set to act opposite Deepika Padukone.

But looks like he’s doing much better now. There have been reports that Irrfan has signed on for Saket Choudhary’s Hindi Medium 2, where he’s rumoured to be paired with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Even Irrfan’s good friend and director, Tigmanshu Dhulia, has confirmed reports of his steadily improving health. It’s good to have you back, Irrfan!
