Jolly LLB 2 Box Office collection Day 9: Akshay Kumar film not affected by new releases; continues its successful run in full glory

Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 has proved that the budget and the star cast has nothing to do with a film’s success and it is only the content which makes it a star. Jolly LLB 2 is ruling the box office like a boss and has even left behind the new releases of this week.

The Ghazi Attack, IraadaI and Running Shaadi released this week, but it seems like none of them is in competition with Jolly LLB 2. The collective box office figures of all three are not even close to what the Akshay Kumar starrer has earned so far.

Jolly LLB 2 is going really strong in week 2 of its release and is all set to cross Rs 100 crore mark in few days.

In week 2 of its release, the movie has shown an impressive growth of 53.38% on Saturday and is expected to do a  lot better on Sunday. Thew movie has done a business of Rs 4.14 crore on Friday and Rs 6.35 crore on Saturday, minting a total of Rs 88.20 crore so far.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film is the second installment of Arshad Warsi’s 2013 courtroon drama Jolly LLB. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in prominent roles.

Here’s a detailed breakup of Jolly LLB 2 collections in Week 1:

• Friday – Rs 13.20 crore
• Saturday – Rs 17.31 crore
• Sunday – Rs 19.95 crore
• Monday – Rs 7.26 crore
• Tuesday – Rs 9.07 crore
• Wednesday – Rs 5.89 crore
• Thursday –  Rs 5.03 crore
