Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s ugly spat has affected The Kapil Sharma Show badly. It looks like Kapil and Sunil’s mid-air fight has become a national issue and the controversy is only getting bigger with every passing day. From Kapil’s public apology to Grover’s message for him, the issue is far from ending.
After Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra’s exit from TKSS, things have taken a u-turn for Kapil. While the makers have tried every possible way of convincing Grover and other to come back on the show, it looks like the actors are in no mood to work with Kapil again.
The incident took place last month, when a highly drunk Kapil misbehaved and abused Sunil and other co-actors, while the team was returning back to Mumbai, after a show in Australia. While Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti are still a part of TKSS, the makers have roped in comedian Raju Srivastava as the new entrants on the show.
But it looks like even that is not helping the show to bring back the continuously dropping TRPs. In fact, according to a report in TOI, the contract of The Kapil Sharma Show is up for renewal this month and the makers are not keen to do that, considering in mind the current situation. It is also being said that the makers have given a one-month extension to Kapil Sharma, which says that if he manages to bring the show back on track only then they will consider of renewing the contract.
The ratings of the show are rapidly going down because of all the negative publicity and Sunil Grover’s exit. Well, we wonder how Kapil Sharma will manage to bring The Kapil Sharma Show back in the top 10 list.
