Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan embraced a new phase of her life recently when she gave birth to her first child. However, Taimur Ali Khan became the star kid who was embroiled in a controversy right after birth. His name sparked an outrage across the nation and led to a never ending debate. But the entire row took a toll on Kareena Kapoor Khan, something which she revealed during a recent interview.
While speaking on the Taimur name controversy, Kareena said all the ruckus happened when she wanted to spend time with her son. Kareena said it was no body’s business what name she chose for her child. She added after they named their child almost everyone turned a historian, philosopher and scientist.
Bebo told Bombay Times, “They even suggested alternate names for my baby. How is my baby’s name anyone’s business? All this erupted when I wanted to enjoy every moment of being a mother.”

The actress added that she and her husband Saif Ali Khan kept all the negativity aside to cherish the moments with their first-born. Kareena also spoke about the pressure of being a mother. Lashing out at reports that discussed how much weight she put on and lost, Kareena said it was annoying. Bebo said she enjoyed her pregnancy and is currently making the most of her motherhood. She added there was constant pressure to abide by the rules of society for a new mother. But, Kareena being Kareena won’t bow down to it. She said:
I will not scream from rooftops about experiencing motherhood or how much I love Taimur. There’s always the pressure of being judged, no matter what you do. It’s about how you deal with it.
