The 9th episode of celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan saw one of Bollywood’s most adorable couples Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput sharing the couch for the first time on national television. While the last episode was a laugh ride with Anushka and Katrina’s crazy talks, this episode was more on a romantic side.
Shahid and Mira looked very much in love and made Karan jealous of their PDA. The duo had an arranged marriage in 2015 and everything about it is still a mystery for many. While many were shocked to see Shahid marrying a girl who is much younger to him, the actor was sure about his decision and talked his heart out about his perfectly planned shaadi.
Mira looked very comfortable on the show and revealed many ‘secrets’ about Shahid. From talking about his most annoying habits to how much she loves him, Mira disclosed it all. Also, it was for the very first time that we got to hear Mira’s voice!

Jab they met:
Shahid and Mira met at a family gathering and Mira had no clue that Shahid’s parents had to see her for their son. Mira told Karan that unaware of the fact, she started bashing Bollywood and their item numbers.

What made Shahid go for an arranged marriage:
Shahid Kapoor was not in a relationship for almost four years and he surprised his fans when he tied the knot with a Bollywood outsider. He told Karan:
You come with no expectations when you volunteer for an arranged marriage. The process of falling in love after marriage is simply amazing and the graph for an arranged marriage is a lot better in the long run.
The age gap:
Both Shahid and Mira said that age is just a number for them and they understand each other very well. In fact, Mira told Karan that, her parents thought Shahid’s parents had come asking for their daughter’s ‘Rishta’ for Shahid’s younger brother. Karan also asked Mira that why would she married someone who is much older to her and Mira gave an epic answer. Watch:

The unconditional love:
When Karan asked Shahid and Mira about how much they love each other, Shahid Kapoor said that he fell in love with Mira more when she was pregnant. And Mira said that having a baby makes ‘you and I, we’ and especially in an arranged marriage it becomes much better.
