The 30-year-old singer will be performing a duet with heavy metal band Metallica at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. The news was revealed in a new commercial and has sent both pop and metal fans into a frenzy. Gaga’s fans are especially elated at the big reveal and they should be too! If there’s any top-ranking pop star today who could pull off a metal duet performance, it is she.

While Gaga is under a bit of a dry spell this year at the Grammys, there’s no stopping her from becoming the highlight of the awards ceremony after this. The Grammys are to be held on February 12 and this will be Gaga’s fifth performance at the awards. “It has been my dream for so long to hear Gaga sing metal with a legendary band. I have never been so excited for a Gaga performance,” said one Gaga fan.

This year Beyoncé, Drake, Rihanna, and Kanye West were among the top nominated artists with Queen Bey at the very top. The artist received a total of nine nominations for her chartbuster album Lemonade. Although she is pregnant, Beyoncé is also slated to perform at the Grammys.

Metallica

Adele, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Chance The Rapper, Katy Perry, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, are among a few others who have been enlisted to perform live during the ceremony. All other stars aside, this Gaga-Metallica performance is driving music fans crazy already.
