The official first look of Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan’s upcoming film Clint has released. Directed by veteran director Harikumar and produced by Sree Gokulam Films, the film is based on the famous child prodigy artist Edmund Thomas Clind who had made more than 30,000 paintings before passing away at the age of 7. Clint stars Rima Kallingal as the female lead.
On Sunday evening, Unni Mukundan took to his Facebook page to reveal the first look.
He wrote:
” Chinnamma _ Clint _ Joseph.
This isn’t just a film for me.
It’s just not another character that I play on screen. Every day has been an invitation to know the prodigy which the world would have cherished. Every day I shoot something that isn’t just a script or a imagination of a writer but something that happened years back. Every word that I utter and listen was rendered in real by Joseph (fondly called as “Pappu”) and by Clint. Every day has been an unique experience which I’m sure isn’t going to happen again any sooner in my life for one reason, and that’s nothing but to find a soul about whom I get to narrate a story. I’m just glad that I could touch this life so up close. I’m sure it will touch everyone.
Below pic is our depiction of the family that we wish to bring to life once again. it’s beautiful “.
Clint also marks the first collaboration of Unni Mukundan and Rima Kallingal. Unni Mukundan portrays the role of Joseph while Rima essays the role of his wife, Chinnanna.
Apart from Clint, Unni Mukundan’s 2017 line up includes Achayans and Avarude Ravukal. The Malayalam youth icon’s second Telugu outing, Bhagmati opposite Baahubali fame Anushka Shetty is slated to be released soon as well.
