It’s always good to see when stars utilise their stardom to contribute something better to the society. Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has done a video on child abuse which has been supported by the Kerala government. The short film has the Premam star explaining kids good and bad touch.
Bodhini, a group from Kerala against child abuse has put Nivin on the board for the video which has now crossed 2 lakhs views on the video sharing site, YouTube. The six-minute and fifty-second long video features is directed by Jude Anthony.
The video shows the actor sitting with a group of children in a playground to discuss safety issues, explaining them the difference between a good touch and a bad touch. It also talks about the measures a children should take if they find themselves in trouble with an abuser. He can also be seen elaborating upon the issue by telling the kinds about the body parts that no one should be allowed to touch, including lips, chest and buttocks. Nivin also urges the kids to ask for help from five adults who they trust.

The video, an eyeopener for every kid epitomizes the harmful and dangerous signs that they should be able to recognize before they experience any unbidden touch or situation from anyone. The three words — No, Go, Tell should be a practice for every child to help them understand that they can talk about such incidents without any fear.
The script of the film has been written by the Kerala State Commission for Protection Of Child Rights.
Nivin Pauly also took to his Facebook page to share the video on Friday and posted:
Children are a priceless gift from God and our best hope for the future..Every child has the right to be in a safe environment,to be protected from harm and danger and most importantly, to never be exploited.Child sexual abuse is one of the biggest threats faced by our society today.Everyday we read reports of such cruelty happening to children, from strangers and even from family. These sickening reports are heartbreaking.
When Jude approached me with this concept of a video to educate children about the danger of sexual abuse, I decided to convert my grief into action. Our aim was to raise a voice against such horrible acts. Small step towards creating awareness.A big thanks to all who made this effort possible — my friend Jude for the initiative, Bodhini for their amazing work & support, all the authorities, and the wonderful children.
