Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film Sakhavu is just eleven days away for its theatrical release. Written and directed by actor-turned National award-winning director Sidhartha Siva, Sakhavu is produced by B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema. Touted to be a campus political entertainer, the film stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Aparna Gopinath and Gayathri Suresh in the female lead roles. Veteran actor Sreenivasan will also essay an important role in the film.
The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film in the best possible away. They have already started the promotions on Monday with a road show conducted from Thalasserry to Vadakara along with Nivin Pauly, Sidhartha Siva and B Rakesh. Lots of cars and mini-buses were plastered with posters of the film during the road show. Nivin Pauly was also facilitated in Government Brennen College and Kannur University during the show. The event turned out to be a hugely successful as a large section of fans were gathered to catch a glimpse of the Premam actor.
Speaking at the event, Nivin Pauly stated that he has always wanted to don a role of a comrade and described as it’s the most challenging role. He also added that he is happy to start the promotions of Sakhavu from Thalasserry.
Nivin Pauly will be seen in two different roles in Sakhavu as comrade Krishnakumar and yesteryear revolutionary Sakhavu Krishnan. The film also stars KPAC Lalitha, Joju George, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu and Sudheesh.
Sakhavu will hit the screens as a Vishu release on 14th April 2017.
