It looks like Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s OK Jaanu has lost the box office game on day 4 of its release. The movie was expected to do better in the coming days, but the numbers say a completely different story.
While Sunday’s collection was affected due to the first one-day international cricket match between India and England in Pune, OK Jaanu fell flat at the box office on Monday as well. The movie is not able to perform as expected and is struggling really hard to be in the race.
The movie did a business of Rs 4.08 crore on Friday, Rs 4.90 crore on Saturday, Rs 4.82 crore on Sunday and Rs 1.95 crore on Monday, making a total of Rs 15.75 crore altogether.
OK Jaanu received mixed reviews from people and Shraddha-Aditya’s chemistry was really liked by the audience in this youthful love story. But it seems like their charm alone isn’t enough to push the film forward.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Tuesday and expressed disappointment over the film’s collection. He wrote:
#OkJaanu is weak… Slumps on Mon… Fri 4.08 cr, Sat 4.90 cr, Sun 4.82 cr, Mon 1.95 cr. Total: ₹ 15.75 cr. India biz.

Directed by Shaad Ali, Ok Jaanu is a Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil blockbuster O Kadhal Kanmani and deals with the subject of live-in relationships. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s chemistry is simply amazing and you will be taken back to their Aashiqui days. Written by Gulzar and music by AR Rahman, songs are the USP of this film.

The film is in competition with Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haraamkhor, which are performing well at the box office as compared to OK Jaanu. And it won’t be wrong to say that Shraddha-Aditya failed to recreate the same magic as that of the original one.
