Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known to make larger-than-life films, is all set to recreate the same magic as that of Bajirao Mastani with his magnum opus Padmavati. The film is in news ever since its announcement and people are already going gaga on it. Known to be a perfectionist, Bhansali is not leaving any chance to make the sets look as real and royal as possible, like those in the 13th century.
According to reports, the filmmaker is all set to shoot the first song Ghoomar for the movie and has recreated the inside of the Chittorgarh fort to make the whole song look as royal as possible. With over 100 people involved, the whole setup took around 40 days to complete. From using Rajasthani paintings as wall design and bringing authentic fire dancers to lighting up 400 diyas, the outcome will be no less than magic.

In fact, Deepika learned the Ghoomar dance form for about one-and-half month to get the footwork and technicalities right. And not to forget, this is not the first time that the actress is taking a step further to get into the character. Says a source:
Ghoomar will be the first song SLB shoots for the film, and everything from the visuals, to the sound, to the sets is being carefully planned and put together. It will be a complete royal experience and the final look will leave people spellbound.

It seems like Bhansali wants to recreate the same magic like that of Deewani Mastani. Well, we really hope that the hard work pays off and Deepika sets the same royal benchmark with Ghoomar.
Padmavati is a period film which will star Deepika Padukone in the title role, with Shahid Kapoor playing the role of Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer will be seen essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji, the medieval-era Delhi sultan, who is enamoured of Padmavati. The movie will release next year.
