Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel got a heart warming welcome in India. The premiere of the movie was attended by many Bollywood celebrities

The grand Indian premiere of xXx: Return of Xander Cage took place last night and was a starry affair, courtesy the Bollywood celebs that attended it. The Hollywood debut of Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, which released in India a week before the rest of the world, made the last evening’s event truly remarkable—not only here but in the rest of the world as well. Upon arrival in India, Deepika Padukone and her co-star Vin Diesel got a rousing welcome. A tableau of many saree clad women riding bikes welcomed the stars, in what looked like an amazing visual treat.

During the premiere in the evening, Vin said he never saw such a grand reception in his entire life. While the event was undoubtedly a grand moment, it was one particular gig of Vin and Deepika that left us open-mouthed. They draped a lungi and danced on the hit Lungi Dance song, amid loud cheers and claps. Deepika wore black sunglasses along with her lungi attire and guess what—she looked absolutely stunning!

Deepika’s boyfriend Ranveer Singh, her Padmavati co-star Shahid Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, Neil Nitish Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi, Kriti Sanon, Richa Chaddha and many other B-Town celebs, attended the premiere.

Ranveer told reporters that it was a proud moment for him. He said:

It is the premiere of xXx, starring Deepika, who is a special co-actor of mine and I am looking forward to watching the movie. Deepika is a gifted actor and an amazing movie star, someone whom I really admire. I am extremely proud of her
