From being Shah Rukh Khan’s 7th film to enter the Rs 100 crore club to ruling the international market like a boss, Raees is growing strong at the box office with every passing day. The whole team of the film along with SRK also hosted a success party of Raees on Monday and the pictures of the party are amazing.
Despite being compared to Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Salman Khan’s Sultan in terms of box office collection, SRK does not appear to be bothered about it. During a media interaction after the party, SRK said: We are happy with the business of the film. It is more than what we expected. I can’t compare it with Dangal or Sultan. They are much bigger films. So, we knew what our limit is.
In its 5-day long weekend, the film did a business of Rs 93.24 crore so far and has crossed Rs 100 crore mark on Monday as per the trade reports.

- Wednesday: 20.42 crore
- Thursday: 26.30 crore
- Friday: 13.11 crore
- Saturday: 15.61 crore
- Sunday: 17.80 crore

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is set in the backdrop of Gujarat in the 80s and also marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. While Shah Rukh portrays the character of a wicked bootlegger Raees Alam, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of a cop whose sole motive is to put him behind the bars.
