Sachin: A Billion Dreams, the docu-feature on Sachin Tendulkar, has witnessed a decent opening at the Box Office. Sachin: A Billion Dreams is said to have witnessed 40 percent occupancy in the theatres. The movie earned Rs 8.40 crore on the first day. The movie directed by James Erskine told the story of Sachin from his childhood to becoming the legend. The movie got rave reviews from critics. Almost everyone said that the movie brought back the memories that were made when Sachin Tendulkar played for India.
The movie showed the life of Sachin Tendulkar like wasn’t seen before. It featured anecdotes from his family members. His mother shared funny incidents from Sachin’s life, his wife Anjali spoke about her love for him and Sachin himself talked about the highs and lows. The movie gave an insight into Sachin’s life and a lot about it was revealed by the people close to him.
