Salman Khan, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film Tubelight these will also be seen in the sequel of his blockbuster film Kick. Rumours have it that Kick 2 will also be helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman’s role in the film would remain the same.
Since both Salman and Sajid are busy with there upcoming prjects for this year, the film will go on floors in 2018. It is also being said that apart from Salman, all the characters of the film would be different and we will not get to see Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda in this sequel.
Salman Khan’s Kick got released in 2014 and it was the official remake of 2009 Telugu movie of the same name. The movie was one of the highest grossing Hindi films not only domestically, but overseas as well.
According to DNA, a source close to the filmmaker said:
Sajid has finished writing 80 per cent of Kick 2. He has sounded Salman out about the script and the actor loves it. They’ve decided to work on the film from the middle of 2018.

Talking about the delay in the making of Kick 2, he further added:
Kick 2 would’ve happened in 2017 itself. But this year Salman is busy with Kabir Khan’s Tubelight and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Sajid has three releases lined up in 2017. First, there’s Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, followed by Sabbir Khan’s Baaghi 2 and Judwaa 2. So, they’ve decided to work together in 2018.
