Salman Khan’s magnum opus, Race 3, may be sprinting comfortably towards Rs 300 crores worldwide (it has earned 276 cr till date), but money isn’t the only thing this ensemble Remo D’Souza film has earned. It has also earned a spot on IMDb’s Lowest Rated Movies on the planet. An honour, if there ever was one.
The film, apart from the omnipotent Khan, also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem much to the audience’s chagrin.
Out of the 100 titles in this list IMDb has released, these are the top five Indian films audience has swiped left on:
#1 Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag (2007). Rating: 1.9
#2 Himmatwala (2013). Rating: 2.0
#3 Humshakals (2014). Rating: 2.1
#4 Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 (2016). Rating: 2.4
#5 Race 3 (2018). Rating: 2.6
Race 3 received 13,555 rating points and 158 reviews, most of which go a bit like this:
For those unaware of how IMDb works, viewers go on the movie database website and give the film of their choice a ranking (a star rating out of 10). It’s a great way finding hidden gems from around the globe, as well as a fantastic source of hilarity when it comes to films as dense as this one.
From what the reviews tell us, Race 3, which is the third film of a franchise that shouldn’t exist, is credited with having everything a high-budget action thriller should have, expect a plotline.
OH. And in case you’re interested, Race 3 received the same rating as Shirish Kunder’s Tees Maar Khan (2010). So it’s in august company indeed.
