Shahid Kapoor’s half brother Ishaan Khattar is finally set to make his silver screen debut, after many speculations about the same. Ishaan, one of the most talked about star kids on the block, will begin shooting for Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi today, said media reports. The filmmaker is world known for his movies namely The Song of Sparrows and Children. His latest project has been titled Beyond the Clouds and Ishaan is reported to start filming today.
The movie will be shot in Jaipur and Mumbai. It has been reported that Ishaan will play an important role to play. Speaking about it, the producer of the film said Ishaan is a superb actor and was amazing in his looks test and suits the character. Telling about his character, the producer said he plays someone who is connected to the ground and to the city.
Reportedly, Majidi met casting director Honey Trehan last August and asked him to find at least 8-10 actors from India.

A few months ago, pictures of Deepika Padukone having a de-glam avatar went viral, from this movie. It was said to be the actress’ screen test but there has been no confirmation about it since.
Without any doubt, Ishaan debuting with Majidi’s film will add weight to his acting resume. There had been reports about Ishaan making his debut with Karan Johar’s Bollywood remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat. But seems that that plan didn’t find structure.

Beyond the Clouds has roped in A.R Rahman for its music direction.
On Ishaan’s big debut his elder brother Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to share his happiness and wish the little one all the best.
