Needless to say, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahuali 2 has taken the Box Office by storm. After setting a new benchmark for the Hindi film industry, the film has now completed successful 50-days run in theaters. The first part had also completed 50 days in around 200+ cinema halls in the domestic market. The period war drama has already set several records including entering into 500 crore club and the film’s Hindi version has become the first Indian film to hit the Rs. 500 crore mark domestically.
Talking about its worldwide collection, the Prabhas starrer epic saga has collected Rs. 1567 crore, according to latest record. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj in lead roles, Baahubali 2 was the sequel of Baahubali 1- the Beginning which had already set several records.
Released on April 28 in India, Baahuali 2 narrates the story about the battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom between two brothers essayed by Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. Prabhas, who essayed the main lead was loved by the viewers for his larger than life image in the film. The Hindi version of the film, released by filmmaker Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Production.

Needless to say, Baahuali 2 is the much talked about film of the year. Ever since the film released, it has managed to create buzz. Be its successful run the Box Office or Prabhas’ powerful performance, people can’t stop talking about the film.

Meanwhile, Prabhas will next be seen in Saaho. The film will see the Rebel actor in his never seen before avatar. Apart from Prabhas, Saaho also features Neil Nitin Mukesh in a negative role. Reportedly, the shooting of the film is going on in Hyderabad. For the upcoming action drama, International stuntman Kenny Bates has been brought on board. He is known for his work in Hollywood films like Die Hard and Transformers.
