Kapil Sharma has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. There have been various reports of the star comedian cancelling shoots at the last minute which many termed as unprofessional and said he didn’t take his work seriously anymore. As it happens, there is a different side to Kapil’s story. Apparently, he has not been keeping well and is under a lot of pressure. Sumona Chakravarti, who plays Kapil’s onscreen wife revealed the facts.
While talking to a leading entertainment daily, Sumona opened about the popular comedian and The Kapil Sharma Show. She said, “Yes his (Kapil’s) health has not been very good and the name of the show is Kapil Sharma. Unfortunately, he is under a lot of pressure and that’s fair enough.”
Sumona further added “We all have our ups and downs in terms of health. It happens, sometimes you can’t even afford to fall sick but the body does take a toll so it’s okay, and not like he kept anyone waiting and everybody understands when someone is sick, it’s genuine.”

Sumona has been the only constant character in TKSS amid rest who left the show after the ugly mid-flight spat that took place between Kapil and Sunil Grover.
