Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma’s infamous mid-air fight has not only ruined their friendship but has also affected The Kapil Sharma Show drastically. While a lot has been said and written about their ugly spat, both Kapil and Sunil chose to maintain silence on the whole controversy. But Kapil’s public apology and Sunil’s decision to quit the show made it clear that the problem was much bigger.
Not only Sunil Grover, but Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra also walked out of TKSS, which made things difficult for both Kapil Sharma and the show. But the continuously dipping TRP’s are a proof that the show is struggling really hard for its survival. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, when Sunil was asked about his experience and association with the show, he said, ”Of course, the association had been successful and I think Kapil is extremely talented and I wish him luck.”
Not only this, Sunil also said that whatever happened was unfortunate and should not have happened only. The actor also told that he is not a comedian, as it is very difficult to be one. He further added: ”I am an actor who makes caricatures out of characters.”
It is also being said that the channel has offered Sunil his very own show, to which the actor said that the makers have been really kind, but currently he has offers from 10 different places and he just doesn’t want to rush into things. While Kapil Sharma’s show is constantly going down and is losing on its craze, Sunil Grover is waiting for the right time to come up with something grand.
Well, letting bygones be bygones, Grover concluded his statement by saying, ”Mujhe graha pooja karani padegi shayad. You learn from experiences like these and move on.”
