The official first look of upcoming Tamil film, Naachiyar is out. Directed and produced by National award winner Bala under his banners B Studios and EON Studios, the film stars Jyothika as the main lead. Touted to be a women-centric film, the actress will be seen in a powerful role in the film. The film also features composer-turned-actor GV Prakash. Veteran composer Ilayaraja has been roped in to do the music for Naachiyar.
On Tuesday morning, Jyothika’s husband and Tamil superstar Suriya revealed the first look and title of the film on Twitter.
The Singam 3 actor tweeted:

GV Prakash too expressed his excitement on Twitter and posted:
A Bala film , An Ilayaraja musical … happy to be a part of #Naachiyar … #jyothika
The first look posters of Naachiyar features Jyothika as an independent woman while GV Prakash seen in a look with grey shades. Within no time, both the film and its director Bala started trending on Twitter.
Theni Eswar of Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai fame will be cranking Naachiyar while Sathish Suriya of R Madhavan’s Irudhi Suttru fame is editing the film.
Meanwhile, Jyothika has wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film, Magalir Mattum. Produced by Suriya and written-directed by Bramma, the film also stars veteran stars Urvashi, Saranya, Bhanupriya and Nassar in supporting roles. Magalir Mattum is slated to be released soon.
