Game of Thrones is one remarkable fantasy show, with all the magic, the ice zombies but most importantly, the dragons. The Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen has three full-grown dragons that are all ready to set anything ablaze at their’s mom’s behest. However, that might change soon. There’s a slight chance that nothing will jump to turn everything to ash every time Dany says “Dracarys” as Cersei now knows how she can kill a dragon.
The latest episode of Game of Thrones titled “Stormborn” revealed that there is, in fact, a way to design a weapon powerful enough to kill a dragon. And that power happens to rest with the most unfortunate person aka, Cersei Lannister. Cersei, who is currently warming the Iron Throne that Daenerys claims is hers, now has an arrow, designed by the Hand of the Queen Qyburn, which is tough enough to pierce a dragon’s skull.

“Apparently, one of Daenerys’ dragons was wounded by spears in the fighting pits of Meereen. If they can be wounded, they can be killed,” says Qyburn to Cersei in the crypts in King’s Landing. He then unveils that he has had the best of blacksmiths working hard to forge an arrow that can kill a dragon. The proof? Well, Qyburn demonstrated the arrow’s potential by having Cersei launch it at the skull of none other than Balerion- The Black Dread, the largest and most powerful dragon to ever live.

Thus far, Daenerys’ dragons, Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal, are the only things that Dany possesses that give her the upper hand. Without her dragons, it would be very hard for Daenerys to conquer the Seven Kingdoms.

There was also a certain leak about season 7 where it was stated that Viserion will die at the hands of the Night King, who will then raise him from the dead as his mount. While this is still unconfirmed, everything else we have learnt from the leaks has been proven to be correct thus far. It is certainly a sad state of affairs for Dany and all fans of Game of Thrones ’cause, who doesn’t like dragons?!
