Naagin Actress Sara Khan has been away from the limelight for quite some time now. But she has again grabbed the headline thanks to the news that the actress was detained in Pakistan. Sara was in Pakistan busy shooting for her Pakistani show Lekin. And finally, when recently Sara returned to India, rumours sparked that she has being arrested in Pakistan. But she has another story to tell.
In a recent interview to a an entertainment portal, she denied such claims and said that she was told to stay back for her No Objection Certificate (NOC). And rubbished all reports suggesting that she was arrested in Pakistan. She revealed that she was leaving there in the five-star hotel and not in the police custody. She even said that she has no idea who is spreading such news.
Further talking about the same, Sara said, as soon she got her NOC, she returned back to her hometown Mumbai. Sara even said that throughout her trip to Pakistan she has been very active on social media, and said how anyone even spread such rumours.
However, now speculation was rife that the reason behind Sara’s this action was in relation to Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, banning her from promoting her Bollywood debut film Raees in India. We all know that Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) imposed a ban on Pakistani artist working here in India in the wake of September 18 Uri attack. Following which Pakistani artist were banned from working in India.

So, as Sara finally breaks her silence over the entire issue, we hope everything is clear now. Sara is best known for her television show Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai. Apart from Bidaai, she also worked in shows like Sasuraal Simar Ka, Kawach and Bigg Boos.
