A lot was said about The Kapil Sharma Show going off air. Kapil’s ill health was cited as one of the major reasons behind pulling down the curtains. The official statement from the channel also indicated that it was because of Kapil’s health that the show was being put on hold. The statement read: “Kapil has been under the weather for sometime now, due to which we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However, once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.”
Now, here’s a happy update about the comedian and his show. As per latest details, Kapil’s show might just come back very soon. The source close to a leading daily has informed that Kapil has recovered and will be back with a bang in October. While we don’t know how long will Kapil make his fans wait to come back on the small screen, it’s good to hear something positive about his health. The comedian-turned-actor had confessed about being ill and taking help from rehab in his last interview. He said:
I am currently in Bangalore undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. I needed to repair my body to make a great and healthy comeback. I am hoping to be back in Mumbai by September-end. Most of what has been written about me lately is rubbish. I have been working for the last 10 years without a break and I needed medical help to combat anxiety, blood pressure and sugar problems and correct an unbalanced diet.
