If you haven’t grown up with DuckTales for a company, have you even lived? After a lot of hype and much speculation, we’ve finally been given our first look of Disney XD’s remake of DuckTales.
The new DuckTales series, has already been picked for a second season even before its premiere. On its last run, the cartoon series had won several awards including an Emmy in its last year in 1990. The man who gave us Ben 10: Omniverse, Matt Youngberg is the Executive producer on this show, with Sean Jimenez as its art director and Francisco Angones as the story editor.
According to Disney’s YouTube page, the voiceovers have been done by ‘David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck; Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as the voices of Huey, Dewey and Louie, respectively; Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack; Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Toks Olagundoye as Mrs Beakley’.
No self-respecting 90s kid can possibly say they are not familiar with the adventures of Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Louie and Dewey, Donald Duck, Launchpad McQuack, and Webby Vanderquack, but just in case you are, do check this out.
The release date for DuckTales has not been revealed yet.
