Sunil Grover fell out with Kapil Sharma following an in-flight brawl that took place in March this year. Since then, he has not returned to The Kapil Sharma Show and there seems to be no possibility of him donning the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati anytime soon. But the comedian did something that has brought out gossip-mongers back from their slumber.
The 40-year-old comedian regularly interacts with his fans on Twitter. Recently, a fan asked him about Firangi, the upcoming film starring Kapil Sharma. Grover was quick to reply and said,”All The Best”. The response elicited 88 retweets and 780 likes.
Ever since Grover walked out, The Kapil Sharma Show has witnessed a slump in TRPs. The channel did renew the show’s contract on August 7, but it is clear that the makers are finding it difficult to live up to the audience’s expectations. Grover, who used to essay the roles of Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi, has been doing standup gigs of late. He did shoot a special episode with Salman Khan for Super Night With Tubelight. The 51-year-old actor was promoting his film Tubelight.
Sunil Grover along with Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar had left TKSS during an ugly brawl that took place on a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai in March this year. It is alleged that Kapil in a drunken state began to abuse Prabhakar. When Grover intervened, he too was abused and manhandled by the host before the crew members had to intervene. Chandan Prabhakar recently made a comeback to the show whereas Asgar joined Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company. Despite Kapil Sharma’s repeated apologies, Grover is unmoved and has reportedly made it clear that he has no intentions on sharing the screen space with the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karun actor.
